LET’S BUILD YOUR BRAND TOGETHER.
Julie is a brand strategist & marketing expert with over a decade of experience working for leading brands in the sports performance & outdoor space.
Julie's journey started in France where she grew up: After graduating from Law School with a master's degree, she set her law career on pause to dedicate a year to her Olympic mountain bike dream through the Olympic trial in 2012. She earned national and international titles during her athletic career. She also had the honor of leading the French national team as a team captain during multiple world championship events.
After graduating, she had the opportunity to be a writer for France's most prominent mountain bike magazine and, shortly after, started working for Rapha in a marketing specialist capacity. She moved to the USA in 2012 and co-founded The Athletic Community, a small business that flourished thanks to the PDX airport carpet socks. This time was filled with fun collaborations with brands such as Strava, Subaru, Rapha, House Industries… Over the years, she also had the opportunity to work on projects for Bridge & Burn, Wildfang, Wieden & Kennedy with Yoplait and Travel Oregon. She also consulted as a Senior Brand Strategist for the agency School of Ideas.
In 2019, after working with an investment fund for three years, the business she co-founded was acquired. Shortly after, she was recruited by Specialized Bicycle Corporation in California, the world leader in e-bikes, to be the Global Brand Marketing Leader for Equipment. During her time there, she led the global brand marketing offense and a series of special projects and collaborations, including with the Swedish outdoor brand Fjallraven.
Since 2023, She is leading brand marketing work at Nike in global and geo capacity for Running and Fitness. She also had the opportunity to lead projects there in football and basketball.
As part of her love for learning and finding opportunities to sharpen her professional skills, she completed design & art direction classes at Pacific Northwest College of Art as part of her continuing education. More recently, she earned a certificate from the Women's Leadership Program at Yale School of Management.
